This April is packed with content for Dungeon Full Dive!

We're not only opening the gates to the DFD: Player Edition on April 12th but we are also incredibly excited to announce, that a brand new chapter: Chapter 3 will be rolling out on April 11th! Get ready for an adventure-packed month!

⭐Announcing Chapter 3⭐

Chapter 3 will be introducing a whole new slate of enhancements and new features, from official mod support to fresh character assets and a brand-new GM tool, there's plenty to explore. We'll share a detailed breakdown of all the new features soon, but here's a glimpse of what's to come in Chapter 3’s first (of many) updates:

🔧 Modding 
We're making modding more intuitive and expansive by switching from IL2CPP to Mono, alongside publishing official modding guidelines. Join our Discord here to start diving into discussions, access documentation, and help us create the future of DFD (More modding announcements coming soon!)

🛠️ New GM Tool
Master your campaigns with new features to the Miniature Overview List, aimed to provide GMs with powerful control and overview over all the miniatures.

⚙️ Feature Improvements
We're committed to making DFD as easy to play as possible. Chapter 3 introduces new, advanced tools and improvements to the map builder, HP Bar System, and more, making DFD more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

🎨 Hot New Character Assets
Refresh your party's look with our latest collection of dragonborn clothing and get a sneak peek at the mystical new wizard outfit for the first update! Chapter 3 is about to get magical!

We're currently preparing to make big changes to enhance your modding experience in the upcoming weeks and months!

From IL2CPP to Mono

Right now, we’re in the process of transitioning parts of the game from IL2CPP to Mono as well as starting the hosting of a documentation forum for modding. This move is aimed at making modding more accessible and expanding the creative possibilities within DFD.

To our cherished Dungeon Full Dive community,

Today, we are at a vital moment in the journey of TxK Gaming Studios. As many of you may have heard, from our recent announcement our team has recently undergone a significant restructuring, resulting in the departure of several cherished and talented team members. This decision, though incredibly difficult, was made with a heavy heart and after considerable deliberation. It was driven by our commitment to the future of Dungeon Full Dive and our studio's sustainability in these challenging times.

While we navigate through this period of change, our resolve to continue developing and enhancing Dungeon Full Dive has never been stronger. We are dedicated to building upon what we have created together, ensuring that Dungeon Full Dive will become the dream VTT for all of us.

Here’s what you can expect moving forward:

• Updates & New Content: Our focus remains steadfast on Dungeon Full Dive. We are committed to delivering regular updates with fixes and new content. As before, you can expect bugfix-updates every month as well as larger content updates throughout the year.
• Roadmap 2024: As it always has been, our roadmap remains shared with all of you. We invite you to review our plans and progress on our previously shared and continuously updated roadmap, where you can see what’s coming next and share your thoughts on what you’re most excited about. As of now, we will focus on improving the Ease of Use for Players & Game Masters by bringing in more useful GM tools and refining the controls.
• Kickstarter Rewards: To our dedicated Kickstarter community, we deeply appreciate your patience and ongoing support. We are fully committed to delivering on the Kickstarter rewards. We understand the importance of these commitments and are working diligently to ensure that all Kickstarter backers receive their additional cosmetic rewards with the full launch of Dungeon Full Dive after Early Access. This includes the delivery of Kickstarter-exclusive content, such as skins and special in-game items.

As we move forward, we do so with gratitude for the team members who have contributed their passion and creativity to Dungeon Full Dive. We are committed to supporting them through this transition and wish them success in their future endeavors.

It's time to talk about roadmap.

We've heard your tales, we've listened to your feedback and we've shared our development plans with you. Meanwhile, we've also been working on our most ambitious and biggest updates yet. So, we're extremely excited to announce:

✨Chapter 2 is coming!✨

Chapter 2 is all about bringing the best possible experience to your GMs & making it as easy as possible for you to play your favorite TTRPG!

With Chapter 2 we are focusing on adding features and improvements that allow you to play and most importantly host your tabletop games as easily as possible. This includes new GM tools, deeper stat integration for 5e , and of course more TTRPG features!

At the same time, we want to push what is possible inside DFD by bringing you more assets, new species, and many other new features that you have been asking for!

The Three Pillars of Chapter 2

🛠️1. GM Tools

Prepare yourselves for brand new Game Master controls! We're giving your GMs a variety of new tools to control the campaigns, adjust the flow of play, and navigate through combat. Exciting features await as your GM takes control of the story with new and improved features such as Fog of War, Advanced Miniature Management, and much more!

⚔️2. Basic Combat

Combat is a cornerstone of every tabletop session, so we are adding new tools to make combat even more enjoyable for the whole party! New features like Automated Initiative Tracking will make your Combat sessions focus on the action instead of lengthy calculations. At the same time, our new Character Sheets and the inclusion of ALL the 5e Monster Stat Sheets in the OGL will give you and your GM complete access to every information that you'll need while fighting through your encounters! Take a first step into the exciting realm of combat with us and we look forward to your feedback as you charge into your battles inside DFD!

🐉3. EVEN MORE Variety

We want every player to completely immerse themselves in their campaign like never before. So, we are adding new battle maps, even more map assets, and new features to make your worlds more interactable while Full Diving. At the same time, we are also giving players brand new ways to customize their characters with more in-depth body customization and yes, a brand new species!

The Roadmap of Chapter 2

Chapter 2 will be kicked off with a MAJOR update on December 4th. After that, we will sequentially add more and more of the features and improvements as we closely listen to your feedback.
